CARDET signed an MOU in January 2015 with the YALE School of Public Health. Within the framework of their agreement for collaboration in the areas of research, education and development, CARDET and YALE have successfully delivered the highly attended Open Education Series titled Designing, Funding, and Executing Responsible Research. Building on this success, the two organizations offered courses in areas such as Biostatistics in Clinical Research, and Cancer Control and Prevention. YALE graduate students participate in research projects in Cyprus as part of their internship requirements, and other research proposals were developed. Joint events were held, such as the international Innovative Learning Environments conference with the theme Health Education and Health Reform, hosted by CARDET, the Cyprus Ministry of Health, and YALE.
