About SAFE

As part of SAFE, an online platform was developed to facilitate and further the needs and objectives of the project that sought to help elevate the welfare and support structures offered to unaccompanied children in the UK, Greece, Denmark and Cyprus.

The online platform offers a comprehensive learning environment that hosts eLearning modules and learning resources to support and empower professionals, foster carers and family caretakers, building up their skills and knowledge in the field. Upon completion of the course, the participants are expected to have a good understanding of the situation of unaccompanied and separated children, an overview of their specific needs and knowledge on how to address them, and will also acquire country-specific information and resources related to the care framework in their respective countries. The platform also hosts and provides easy access to SAFE’s training guides-handbooks.
